Dispute Resolution Services ~

Mediation Training

General Registration Fee: $275

CSP's Dispute Resolution Services (DRS) offers mediation training for increasing professionals skills and personal development in conflict resolution. CSP~DRS also welcomes volunteers interested in mediating for the program.

 

DRS training consists of lectures, small group exercises, large group discussions, role-plays, basic conflict resolution, negotiating skills and agreement writing. Discussion also includes:

Listening and Communication Skills

Balancing Power to Help People Settle Disputes

Problem Identification

Breaking Deadlocks

Handling Strong Emotions or Difficult People
